SBC week one- Lets Get to Know Each Other

Hi Everyone!! The student blogging challenge has started again which means I will continue posting again! The next three weeks we have no school because of the corona virus. Which is a terrible virus that is getting many people sick and has no cure yet. Anyway this weeks topic is internet safety, so here a internet safety tip. Always choose strong passwords to protect accounts. The best types of passwords have both letters and numbers combined. But don’t make them too complicated or hard to remember.

Review on SBC 2019

This year was the first year that I participated in the student blogging challenge and it was great! I like in English class how we post on our blogs rather than just doing regular worksheets everyday. I liked doing all the different challenges like emojis, holidays, and much more. I did most of the challenges, and overall thought cool way of learning. I will probably continue posting school work, and other writing assignments. Blog, Internet, Web, Technology, Media, Communication

Week 5 SBC, Music

A few weeks ago, I had to research a music group for my music app class. Here is my report on the Jonas brothers.

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band, that consists of three brothers, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. They were originally from Wyckoff New Jersey, where Kevin was born. While Joe was born in Arizona and Nick in Texas. Formed in 2005, they gained the most popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. In 2013 the Jonas Brothers broke up, and each pursued their own careers but got back together recently. With getting back together they made a new song ¨Sucker ̈ that is very popular. The instruments the Jonas Brothers use are vocals, guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, and percussion drums. The Jonas Brothers are inspired by the bands that have been around for years. “Musical role models for us are bands that have been around for years and years always playing together like U2, the Police, the Rolling Stones, and of course the legendary Paul McCartney,” Kevin Jonas says. The band’s main audience is really common and can interest anyone. Parents seem to like them because they aren’t inappropriate and usually have a good message. Some of the Jonas brothers popular songs are ̈Cool ̈, ̈Sucker ̈ , and ̈Only Human ̈. These songs aren’t sad like the blues and are more like 50 ́s rock and roll. The songs are more focused towards happiness and not tragedies like blues.

Fall is Here

Here in New England, summer is slowly leaving and we are transitioning into fall. Did you know, Americans use the word ¨fall¨(like I am) while the British refer to this season as ¨autumn¨. But even before that in the 16th century, it was called ¨harvest.¨ Also with this colorful season comes Halloween!
